7-2-3: VIOLATIONS; PENALTY:
   A.   Duty To Apprehend: It shall be the duty of peace officers to apprehend and take into custody any minor found in violation of this chapter. The City officer designated as the juvenile authority shall thereupon notify said parent or guardian and such parent or guardian shall be immediately summoned.
   B.   Prosecution Against Parent: In any prosecution under this section against the parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of a minor under said age, it shall not constitute a defense thereto that said person did not have knowledge that such minor did loiter, idle, wonder, stroll or drive, operate or ride in an automobile randomly, purposelessly or aimlessly, in or on the public streets, highways, roads, alleys, parks, playgrounds or other public grounds, other public places or other unsupervised places, at any time between the aforementioned prohibited hours.    C.   Violations:
      1.   Minor: Violations shall be handled in accordance with the Montana Youth Court Act.
      2.   Parent: Violations of this section by any parent, guardian or other adult care giver are designated as Municipal infractions as specified in title 1, chapter 4 of this Code. (Ord. 2018-05, 11-19-2018, eff. 1-1-2019)
