§ 33.05 RESISTING AN OFFICER.
   Whoever shall resist any police officer in the discharge of his or her duty or shall interfere with, hinder, or prevent him or her from discharging his or her duty, or shall in any manner assist any person in custody of any such officer to escape, or shall rescue or attempt to rescue any person so in custody, shall be subject to a fine.
