Before any license or renewal thereof shall be issued, the applicant shall file with his or her application, his or her bond payable to the village, in the sum of $5,000, or in an amount as determined by the President and Board of Trustees, conditioned that such applicant shall at all times comply with the provisions of this chapter and the laws of the state and pay all fines, penalties and costs which applicant may incur by reason of any violation thereof.
