§ 71.11 SNOWMOBILE ROUTE.
   (A)   The following described route being on private property along the abandoned railroad bed at the north village limits proceeding to Green Street west to Ash Avenue south on Ash Avenue to Marathon Station for fuel. The trail would then proceed south on Ash Avenue to State Street, turning east onto State Street one block to the parking lot of Anderson Trucking or Moring Disposal, then proceeding south to the Mobil Station for fuel north from the Mobil Station, proceeding west on State Street one block, then proceeding north on Ash Avenue to the Forreston Township lot proceeding west through the lot across Route 26 (N. Walnut Avenue) onto White Oak Road to the alley between 1st and 2nd Avenue, proceeding south through the alley two blocks to reach the lot on the south side of the business located at 220 1st Avenue. In the event the owners of the private property described in the above route now or in the future do not grant their consent for the use of their property for a snowmobile route, the following shall be the alternate route: North Locust Avenue at the north village limits proceeding to Avon Street west to Ash Avenue to Marathon Station for fuel proceeding south on Ash Avenue to the Forreston Township lot proceeding west through the lot across Route 26 (N. Walnut Avenue) onto White Oak Road to the alley between 1st and 2nd Avenue proceeding south through the alley two blocks to reach the lot on the south side of the business located at 220 1st Avenue. The above described trails are hereby approved by the village, and shall be the only route upon which snowmobiles may enter and exit the village limits.
   (B)   Snowmobilers who live within the village shall be allowed to ride the shortest direct route to the above described village designated route.
   (C)   No snowmobile shall be operated in excess of 15 mph.
   (D)   No snowmobile shall be operated in a careless or negligent manner or so as to endanger the safety of any person or the property of any other person.
   (E)   Each person operating a snowmobile shall observe all traffic signs and signals and all other rules and regulations applying to traffic within the village.
   (F)   The crossing of any street or highway shall be made at an angle of 90 degrees to the direction of the highway or street. The snowmobile shall be brought to a complete stop prior to crossing a street or highway.
   (G)   No snowmobile shall be operated on any private portion of the aforedescribed snowmobile route without the prior consent of the property owner. Said consent shall be placed on file with the Village Clerk.
