This chapter is not intended to repeal, abrogate or impair any existing easements, covenants or deed restrictions. Where this chapter and other ordinances, easements, covenants or deed restrictions conflict or overlap, whichever imposes the more stringent restrictions shall prevail. This chapter is intended to repeal the original ordinance O-33-85 entitled "An Ordinance Regulating Development In Special Flood Hazard Areas" and passed by a roll call vote of the village council on November 25, 1985, which was adopted to meet the national flood insurance program regulations, but is not intended to repeal the resolution which the village passed in order to establish initial eligibility for the program.
