§ 132.251 TEASING OR STRIKING POLICE DOGS.
   (A)   No person shall willfully or maliciously taunt, torment, tease, strike at, beat or otherwise act to provoke, or to permanently or temporarily disable without injuring, any dog which is under the control, possession or ownership of the Police Department to assist in law enforcement activities.
   (B)   No person shall knowingly cause any dog which has been trained to assist in law enforcement activity to temporarily or permanently lose any of its sensory capacities, whether or not the dog is engaged in law enforcement activity.
   (C)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
