§ 50.05 CITY MANAGER TO NOTIFY APPROPRIATE OFFICIALS OF HIS USE OF THE WATER SUPPLY.
   (A)   Notwithstanding any of the foregoing provisions, it shall be lawful for the City Manager in the performance of his duties, to make any use of the public water supply he deems necessary, without obtaining a permit, but he shall first notify the Superintendent, if practical, and if he proposes to use fire hydrants or fire plugs, he shall first give notice to the Chief of the Fire Department or authorized representative, if practical, who shall record and file such notices.
   (B)   Further, it shall be lawful for the Fire Department to make use of the fire plugs and fire hydrants in the performance of Fire Department duties, including training, without obtaining any permit. However, when such use is to be made for training purposes, the Superintendent shall first be notified.
