§ 36.114 DISMISSAL NOTICE.
   The discharge of a regular employee, for other than failure to qualify during the probationary period, shall not become effective until the City Manager shall have first served upon the employee a written notice of discharge, which shall contain one or more statutory reasons or grounds for discharge, together with specifications and facts as will enable the employee to be placed fairly upon his defense. A copy of the notice of discharge shall be placed in the employee's personnel file and reported by the Civil Service Secretary to the Commission.
