(A) Salaries of members of Council shall be established at a rate equivalent to 6% of the rate established by the Ohio General Assembly for Hamilton County Commissioners, but shall not be changed during their term of office, nor by any ordinance passed subsequent to 30 days before the final date fixed by the general election laws of Ohio or by provisions of the Forest Park Charter for filing as a candidate for such office.
(B) Salary of the Mayor shall be established at a rate equivalent to 8% of the rate established by the Ohio General Assembly for Hamilton County Commissioners, but shall not be changed during their term of office, nor by any ordinance passed subsequent to 30 days before the final date fixed by the general election laws of Ohio or by provisions of the Forest Park Charter for filing as a candidate for such office.
(C) The First and Second Vice Mayors shall receive $50 stipend for each Mayors Court session they seat provided that in no case shall the First or Second Vice Mayor receive compensation twice for the same service.
(D) The Mayor, acting as ceremonial head of the city and under the laws of the State of Ohio, may retain unsolicited gratuities, when offered. Any charges levied by the Mayor or the city for services of the Mayor shall be paid directly to the general fund.
