The Manager shall appoint a Director of Finance (Treasurer) who shall be a resident of the Municipality. The Director of Finance shall serve as the fiscal and accounting officer of the Municipality. He shall receive, collect, and deposit all monies due the Municipality and sign all checks and vouchers for their disbursement. He is the official custodian of official bonds and of instruments for the payment of the money of the Municipality and shall perform all other financial duties imposed upon him by any measure of Council. The Director of Finance may be removed by the Manager providing a thirty day notification is given. Council shall establish the salary of the Director of Finance by ordinance.
