Council hereby resolves to exempt Council members from the mandated penalty of two percent (2%) of the annual salary for any Council member for each absence from a regular meeting of the Village of Forest Council by said Council member. This exemption is resolved having taken into consideration the additional duties and meetings required by a member of the Village of Forest Council and is considered fair and just and permitted by Ohio R.C. 705.13 by authorization of two-thirds approval of the legislative authority.
