(A) Pursuant to the authority granted county by, and under, the provisions of I.C. 9-17-2-12(e), TSO Table VI, and in accordance with the procedures delineated therein and under I.C. 36-1-3-6stateRef, the County Sheriff is hereby authorized to collect a fee of $5 for each inspection which is made by a member of his or her Department under, and pursuant to, the provisions of I.C. 9-17-2-12stateRef.
(B) Pursuant to the provisions of I.C. 9-17-2-12(e) and I.C. 36-1-3-6stateRef, and for the purpose of the deposit of all fees collected pursuant to this section, the county’s Vehicle Inspection Fund is hereby established, which Fund shall be non-reverting, used for law enforcement purposes only, and which Fund shall be subject to appropriation by the County Council.
