The County Auditor be, and he or she hereby is, authorized to collect a fee of $10 for each real property endorsement that she may make, from time to time, pursuant to the provisions of I.C. 36-2-9-18(d) or other applicable statute, rule, or regulation. The fees collected by the Auditor pursuant to this section shall be deposited in a non-reverting fund, and, subject to appropriation by the County Council, shall be used solely for the purpose of maintaining plat books as permitted by the provisions of I.C. 36-2-9-18.
