(A)
In the absence or disability of the Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson on any board, commission or committee, the meeting shall be called to order by the staff liaison, whereupon, the staff liaison shall immediately call for the selection of a temporary presiding officer. The board, commission or committee members present shall, by majority vote, select a temporary presiding officer for that meeting, who shall have all the powers, duties and responsibilities of the Chairperson during the absence or disability.
(B) Upon arrival of the Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson or presiding officer shall immediately relinquish the chair upon the conclusion of the business immediately before the board, commission or committee.
