(A) That the Agreement for Cooperative Enforcement of the Uniform State Building Code, between the County of Boone, Kentucky, and the city, is hereby approved. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the agreement on behalf of the city and the appropriate officials of the city are hereby authorized and directed to take the other actions as are necessary to implement and perform the agreement on behalf of the city.
(B) In order to provide uniform building code enforcement, a uniform schedule of fees for permits, and uniform penalties for violators throughout the unincorporated territory of the county and the corporate limits of the city, the city hereby adopts and enacts County of Boone Ordinance No. 930.8. All of the provisions of the ordinance shall be in full force and effect within the corporate limits of the city. With respect to fees for electrical inspections the city hereby ratifies and adopts the policy of the county which is to have the amount charged for the inspections calculated in accordance with K.R.S. 227.487.
