(A) Whoever is convicted of or pleads guilty to a misdemeanor or violation for which another penalty is not already otherwise provided, shall be imprisoned for a definite term, or fined, or both, which term of imprisonment and amount of fine shall be fixed by the court as provided in this section.
(B) Terms of imprisonment for misdemeanors shall be imposed as follows:
(1) For a Class A misdemeanor, not more than 12 months;
(2) For a Class B misdemeanor, not more than 90 days.

(C) Fines for misdemeanors and violations shall be imposed as follows:
(1) For a Class A misdemeanor, not more than $500; or
(2) For a Class B misdemeanor, not more than $250; or
(3) For a violation, not more than $250.
(4) This division does not apply to a corporation.
