§ 70.25 CHARGES.
   (A)   In addition to the penalties levied for the parking violations, there are hereby imposed the towing, holding, and storage charges upon such impounded vehicle as follows:
   (B)   For vehicles impounded under the provisions of this chapter, the fees imposed shall be as follows:
      (1)   Towing. From $50 to $100 in accordance with a schedule to be established by the City Coordinator and filed with the City Clerk. Prior to approval of a schedule of towing charges, the City Coordinator shall determine the currently prevailing rates in the city for similar towing services and shall not approve any towing rate schedule in excess of the prevailing rate in the city. In no event, however, shall the approved rate be less than $50 nor more than $100.

      (2)   Storage. From $12 to $25 per day to be established in accordance with a schedule to be approved by the City Coordinator and filed with the City Clerk. The City Coordinator shall determine storage charges in the same manner as towing charges are to be determined in division (1) above. In no event shall the approved rate for storage be less than $12 nor more than $25 per day.
