Estimated runoff by the rational method: Q = C.I.A. where:
(A) "Q" = Peak rate of runoff, in cfs.
(B) "C" = Weighted runoff coefficient, expressing the ratio of rate of runoff to rate of rainfall.
(C) "i" = Average intensity of rainfall in inches per hour (for the selected frequency and for duration equal to the time of concentration).
(D) "A" = Drainage area, in acres, tributary to the point under design.
(E) "Tc" = Time of Concentration (the time in minutes for a particle of water to travel from the most remote point in the drainage area to the structure).
