§ 50.301 VIOLATION OF pH REGULATIONS.
   (A)   Violation of pH requirements set forth in § 50.098(F) is subject to a penalty of $100 for each 1.0 pH unit over or under permissible pH range of 6.0 to 9.0 and each violation shall be considered a separate offense; provided, however, that to constitute a violation, the illegal flow shall be continuous for the following time periods:
30 minutes for pH 5.9 to 5.0 or 9.0 to ll.0
15 minutes for pH 4.9 to 4.0 or ll.l to 12.0
5 minutes for pH 3.9 to 2.5 or 12.l to 13.0
1 minute for pH less than 2.5 or greater than 13.0
   (B)   The Water and Sewer Commission or the Sanitation District No. 1, under their rules and regulations, may assess the penalties for such violation for which the penalty is imposed.
