The utility will endeavor to maintain the efficiency of the meters within the allowable accuracy prescribed by the State Regulatory Commission in its’ “Rules and Standards of Service for the Electric Utilities of Indiana.” The utility will make a test of accuracy of registration on a meter upon written request of a consumer. A second test of this meter may be requested after 12 months. If a subsequent request for testing is made at less than 36 month intervals and no error is found or any error is within allowable accuracies, the consumer shall be charged a fee of $25 or the actual cost of the meter test, whichever is less.
