§ 113.048 RIGHTS RESERVED TO GRANTOR.
   (A)   Right of inspection of records. The town shall have the right to inspect all books, records, reports, maps, plans, financial statements and other like materials of the grantee, at any time during normal business hours, when necessary to ascertain the grantee’s compliance with this chapter, the franchise and all applicable laws.
   (B)   Right of inspection of construction. The town shall have the right to inspect all construction or installation work performed subject to the provisions of the franchise and to make the tests as it shall find necessary to ensure compliance with the terms of this chapter and all applicable laws.
   (C)   Right of inspection of property. At all reasonable times, grantee shall permit examination by any duly authorized representative of the town of the system, together with any appurtenant property of grantee situated within or without the town when necessary to ascertain the grantee’s compliance with this chapter, the franchise and all applicable laws.
   (D)   Right of intervention. The town shall have the right of intervention in any suit or proceeding to which the grantee is party, and the grantee shall not oppose the intervention by the town.
