(A) A permit issued pursuant to this chapter is approved for a period of time specific to each applicant. The desired solicitation period is requested by the applicant when completing the application for solicitation permit. No standard or automatic permit period exists.
(B) The solicitation permit expires no later than 7:00 p.m. on the last day approved for solicitation.
(C) Solicitation permits can be renewed after the expiration of the initial permit with the completion and approval of a new application for solicitation permit and payment of the required fee. No additional background check will be required unless the Police Chief or his or her designee determines the applicant's previous actions warrant such.
