This chapter is enacted for town public safety and well-being and for general informational purposes. In addition, issuance of a business registration pursuant to this chapter does not excuse a business owner from compliance with any other applicable statute. This chapter does not prevent the town from imposing permit fees on additional businesses or from increasing or decreasing the amount of any business registration fee or permit.
