Any violation of this subchapter found to exist by the Utilities Superintendent shall be subject to appeal to the Mayor of the City of Flemingsburg within ten days of receipt by the utility customer of the notice of violation from the Utilities Superintendent, by requesting a form from City Hall to be completed and signed by the customer. Additional evidence may be presented to the Mayor by the customer in support of the appeal. The Mayor may consider only the written evidence so presented, or may ask for additional information from both the customer and the Utility Superintendent. The Mayor will notify the customer in writing within ten days of receipt by the Mayor of the appeal. The decision of the Mayor shall be final as to the city procedures.
