(A) Regulatory devices are hereby authorized to be installed, maintained and implemented within any regulated parking zone which is authorized by the city ordinance at locations where, in the discretion of the Mayor, such devices are deemed to be a practical means of regulating and controlling vehicular traffic.
(B) Parking meters installed in the regulated parking zones established shall be placed on the curb or other position of the street or walk adjacent to the individual parking places. Each parking meter shall be placed or set in a manner so as to show or display by a signal that the parking space adjacent to the meter is or is not legally in use. Each parking meter installed shall indicate by proper signal the legal parking time established by the city, and when operated shall indicate by some appropriate device the duration of legal parking, and on the expiration of the period shall indicate illegal overparking.
(C) Signs shall be positioned at the beginning and end of the regulated parking zone. Signs will designate time limits and time of day parking is authorized.
(D) Regulatory markings will be readily identifiable and will specify the type of regulated zone; (i.e., loading zone.)
