For the purpose of this subchapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
"REGULATED PARKING ZONES." Portions of streets, described and established by ordinance of City Council, within which the parking of vehicles shall be controlled, regulated, and inspected with the aid of signed, markings or meters.
"REGULATORY DEVICE." Sign, marking or meter.
"STREET." Any public street, avenue, road, boulevard, highway, or other public place located in the city, and established for the use of vehicles.
"VEHICLES." Any type of movable machinery, whether self-powered or not, used or useful for the conveyance of persons or property, including but not limited to automobiles, trucks, tractors, wagons, trailers, boats, bicycles, motorcycles, construction equipment, and machinery on wheels or tracks.
