(A) The initial statement of financial interests required by this section shall be filed with the Board of Ethics, or the administrative official designated as the custodian of its records by the Board of Ethics, no later than 4:30 p.m., February 1, 1995. All subsequent statements of financial interest shall be filed no later than 4:30 p.m. on February 1 of each year, provided that:
(1) Any person appointed to fill a vacancy of an elective office shall file his or her initial statement no later than thirty (30) days after the date of the appointment.
(2) A candidate for an elective office shall file his or her initial statement no later than thirty (30) days after the date on which the person becomes a candidate for the elected office.
(B) The Board of Ethics may grant a reasonable extension for filing a statement of financial interests for good cause shown.
