§ 73.05 MANNER OF RIDING.
Any person operating a bicycle shall not ride other than upon or astride the permanent and regular seats attached thereto nor shall a bicycle operator carry any other person upon such bicycle other than on a firmly attached and regular seat. No bicycle shall be used to carry more persons at one time than the number for which it is designed and equipped except on a baby seat attached to the bicycle. In that case, the seat must be equipped with a harness to hold the child securely to the seat, and protection must be provided to prevent the child’s feet from hitting the spokes of the wheels.
