§ 52.50 WATER MAIN INSTALLATIONS.
   (A)   The city’s Utilities shall prepare plans and specifications for each water main extension project. In general, the installation procedure shall conform to the standards established by the Cast Iron Pipe Research Association.
   (B)   Pressure, leakage, and an electrical conductance test shall be made by the Water Department on all new water main extensions. Chlorination of the water mains shall conform to the A.W.W.A. standard for disinfecting water mains.
