(A) Off-street parking of motor vehicles, recreational vehicles, watercraft, or trailers shall not be permitted in the required front or side yard of any residence except as follows:
(1) Upon a driveway providing direct access to the garage or rear yard; and
(2) Upon a driveway or parking pad which is no wider than 22 feet in width, and the location of the driveway or parking pad complies with the minimum side-yard setback, and there is no additional driveway providing direct access to the garage or rear yard.
(B) No such equipment shall be used for living, sleeping, or housekeeping purposes when parked or stored on a residential lot or in any location not approved for such use.
