Any person, firm, or corporation who fails to comply with, or violates any of the regulations of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and may be punishable by a fine of up to $200 for each and every day that any violator fails to comply with the provisions of these regulations. In addition to the penalties described, the City Council or any member thereof, may institute an appropriate action or proceedings to seek an injunction in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent, retrain, correct, or abate such violation or threatened violation, and it is the duty of the City Attorney to institute such action.
