§ 154.37 STREET EXTENSIONS.
   (A)   The arrangement, character, extent, location, and grade of all streets shall be in accordance with good planning principles and shall be considered in their relation to existing and planned streets, topographical conditions, public convenience, and safety and in appropriate relation to the proposed uses of land to be served by such streets.
   (B)   Where, at the determination of the City Council, it is desirable to provide street access to adjoining properties, proposed streets shall be extended by dedication to the boundaries of such properties. Where the City Council deems it necessary, such dead-end streets shall be provided with a temporary turn around having a radius of at least 50 feet.
   (C)   The street system for the proposed subdivision shall provide for extending existing streets at the same time or greater width, but in no case shall a street extension be of less width than the minimum width required in these regulations for a street in its category. The arrangement of streets in a new subdivision shall conform to the Major Street Plan and shall make provisions for the continuation of existing streets in adjoining areas or their proper projection where adjoining land is not subdivided.
