(A) It is hereby resolved that hereafter, the Clerk of the village shall be appointed in accordance with the statutes made and provided all in accordance with 65 ILCS 5/3.1-25-90, as amended or in accord with the successor or successors to said 65 ILCS 5/3.1-25-90Cite.
(B) This section shall take effect upon its adoption by two-thirds of the Board of Trustees of the village.
(C) Upon its due adoption, the Village Clerk shall furnish a certified copy of this section to the proper election official to be filed in the office of the said proper election official, all in accord with the general election law.
(D) Upon this section having been adopted, the Village Clerk shall be thereafter appointed in accordance with such statute.
