Beginning with those terms of office which commence as a result of the consolidated election to be held in April 2009, and for all subsequent terms of office, the Village Trustees so elected at such election shall be paid a salary of $75 per month. Trustees shall be entitled to miss up to two regular meetings of the Board of Trustees; thereafter, no Trustee shall receive compensation under this section in any month in which the Trustee misses a third, or following the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees. Additionally, such Trustees shall receive reimbursement for any expenses incurred by the Trustees in the performance or furtherance of the official duties of the office. Further, commencing on May 1, 2010, and effective each May 1 thereafter, the Trustees shall receive an increase in compensation in an amount equal to the property tax extension limitation law tax cap percentage for the then current year. For all terms of office which commence at any point in time later than April 2009, including terms of office for Trustees elected at later elections, the Trustees so elected shall be compensated at a rate equivalent to the terms of office which begin as a result of the consolidated election of April 2009, including all increases in compensation. For all terms of office which commence at any point prior to April 2009, compensation shall remain unchanged until the conclusion of the present term of office.
