Each license issued under this chapter shall, unless terminated, revoked, or suspended, expire on April 30 following the issuance thereof, provided, however, that a Class “D” license, as designated above, shall be valid for a 48-hour period beginning at 12:01 a.m. on the date specified therein, or for a lesser period as required by the license. The normal licensing period shall be from May 1 through April 30 of each year, unless a license is issued or terminated at some other time during the year for individual circumstances.
