(A) Every holder of a taxicab license under this chapter shall provide the Controller with a certificate of insurance in the following amounts:
(1) $500,000 per accident for accidental injury or death;
(2) $500,000 per person for accidental injury or death; and
(3) $100,000 for property damage.
(B) The certificate of insurance shall provide that the city shall receive notice not less than 30 days prior to cancellation. Failure to comply with this section shall be cause for immediate revocation of the owner's taxicab license.
