(A) The Fishers Department of Engineering and Public Works or its designee is authorized to post a speed limit less than the maximum speed limits listed in Chapter 74, Schedule III of this Traffic Code, as from time to time amended by duly adopted resolution of the Board of Public Works and Safety, for any roadway or adjacent area that is under construction.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any motorist to exceed the reduced speed limit on a roadway under construction, provided signs are erected that give motorists reasonable notice of the construction and the reduced speed limit.
