107.04 AUTHORIZATIONS.

   In order to implement the aforementioned procedures and services, the following authorizations are approved.

   (a)   The Director of Public Service-Safety of the City is hereby authorized to employ a risk management firm, actuary services and a claims processing firm, as needed to process all claims filed against the City.

   (b)   The Director of Law is hereby authorized to employ outside legal counsel, as needed, to assist in the defense of all claims filed against the City.
