929.13 CONNECTIONS GENERALLY.

   (a)   How New Junction is Made. In case it shall be necessary to connect a drain or sewer pipe with a public sewer, when the junction is left in the same, the new connection with the public sewer can only be made when the officer of the City is present to see the whole of the work done.

   (b)   When Water and Gas Pipes are in Way. In case a water or gas pipe should come in the way of a drain or sewer, the question of passing under or over the same shall be determined by one of the officers authorized by the City. In no case shall the pipe layer decide the question himself.

   (c)   Connections to be Under Engineer's Supervision. All connections made with the public sewers shall be under the supervision and direction of the City Civil Engineer or the authorized agents of the City.
