907.03 PERMIT REQUIRED; GRADE AND LINE STAKES BY ENGINEER.

No sidewalk shall be constructed in the City until the person whose duty it is to construct the same, or who desires to do so, has applied for and obtained a permit from the Service-Safety Director, nor until the Director has caused the necessary grade and line stakes to be set for the same by the City Engineer. Such sidewalk shall be made and constructed under the supervision and control and to the satisfaction and approval of the Engineer. If the Engineer has to restake any lot there will be a $1.00 per foot charge for the length of run involved in said restaking.
