767.08 CARRYING OR EXHIBITING PERMIT.

The permit issued hereunder shall be exhibited in the place of business by itinerant merchants, and shall be carried by any peddler or solicitor at all times when peddling or soliciting, and shall be exhibited to any person solicited or any police officer on request. In the case of peddlers or solicitors, an identification badge shall be issued which shall be worn while engaging in business.
