711.06 EXCEPTIONS TO LICENSE REQUIREMENT.

Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to require the payment of a license fee by merchants doing business in the City for advertising their own business; nor shall it apply to advertising matter of any article or compound which has been manufactured or compounded within the City. No bona fide political, religious or union organization shall be required to secure or pay for a license as outlined in this chapter.
