505.15 DISPOSAL OF DEAD ANIMALS.
   (a)   The Dog Warden shall on receiving notice from any person or persons that a dead animal is lying on any public grounds, street, lane, alley or any private lot or premises within the City, immediately remove such animal and properly dispose of or bury the carcass in accordance with City ordinances.
 
   (b)   No dead animals except household pets such as dogs, cats and other small animals shall be buried within the City, nor allowed to remain therein, except when prepared and dressed for food purposes, longer than twenty-four hours, or except by the City in designated areas.
 
   (c)   No owner or possessor of any animal which has died from disease or been killed, shall knowingly allow the same to lie on any public ground, street, lane, alley or any private lot or premises within the City.

   (d)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
