It shall be unlawful to maintain, store or allow to remain on any property within Fillmore City, injurious or noxious weeds, garbage, refuse, public nuisances and/or unsightly or deleterious objects and structures when they create a fire hazard, a health hazard or danger, a safety hazard, a source of contamination or pollution of water, air or property, a breeding place or habitation for insects or rodents or other forms of life deleterious to human habitation or are unsightly or deleterious to their surroundings. More than three (3) wrecked, junked, partially dismantled, inoperative or abandoned vehicles on private property within the City, unless removed from public view behind an opaque screen or fence, are unlawful items within this Section. This Section however, does not include commercial uses for which impound yards and repair shops are lawfully established. (Ord. 21-14, 9-7-2021)
