9-1-1: CODES ADOPTED:
   A.   International Building Code: The regulations contained in the most recent edition of the International Building Code, as printed under authority of the International Conference of Building Officials in book form, are hereby adopted as the regulations governing the construction of buildings and other structures in the City; and it shall be unlawful to erect or construct any building or structure in the City in violation of, or without complying with, the appropriate provisions of such regulations.    B.   International Mechanical Code: The regulations contained in the most recent edition of the International Mechanical Code, as printed under authority of the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials in book form and approved by the Utah Department of Health, are hereby adopted as the regulations governing the design, installation, maintenance or repair of heating, cooling, refrigeration or other ventilation systems; and it shall be unlawful to design, install, maintain or repair such a system in the City in violation of, or without complying with, the appropriate provisions of such regulations.    C.   National Electrical Code: The regulations contained in the most recent edition of the National Electrical Code, as printed under authority of the National Electrical Contractors Association in book form, are hereby adopted as the regulations governing any interior or exterior electrical wiring, or any electrical construction, electrical installation or alteration of any electrical wiring; and it shall be unlawful to perform any interior or exterior electrical wiring, or any electrical construction, electrical installation or alteration of any electrical wiring in the City in violation of, or without complying with, the appropriate provisions of such regulations.    D.   International Plumbing Code: The regulations contained in the most recent edition of the International Plumbing Code and the International Private Sewage Disposal Code, as adopted by the State, are hereby adopted as the regulations governing any plumbing connected or to be connected to any pipe or pipes in the City, or to any private plumbing or any sewer system of the City; and it shall be unlawful to repair or install any plumbing connected or to be connected to any pipe or pipes in the City, or to any private plumbing or any sewer system of the City in violation of, or without complying with, the appropriate provisions of such regulations.    E.   International Fire Code: The regulations contained in the most recent edition of the International Fire Code, as printed under authority of the International Conference of Building Officials and Western Fire Chiefs Association in book form, are hereby adopted as the regulations governing fire prevention in the City; and it shall be unlawful to construct, install, maintain or repair anything in the City in violation of, or without complying with, the appropriate provisions of such regulations.    F.   Abatement Of Dangerous Buildings Code: The regulations contained in the most recent edition of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings are hereby adopted as the regulations affording reasonable procedures for the classification and abatement of dangerous buildings.
