7-1-6: STREET AND SIDEWALK STANDARDS:
   A.   Grades: All street paving in the City, except construction of a temporary nature, shall be constructed to grades as adopted by the City Council and specified in title 10, article 18A, "Design Standards For Construction And Development", of this Code.
   B.   Street Classification: Streets shall be classified as arterial/major, subcollector/minor and collector streets, as designated in the City Public Works Policy for Streets and Roads and as adopted in the Streets Master Plan on September 17, 1985.
   C.   Width And Construction Standards: All street construction shall conform to the standards set forth in the City Public Works Policy for Streets and Roads. Not all platted streets within the City are uniform and consistent, therefore the City retains the right to bring them into conformity. An exception may be made to the street widths and construction standards, in that all existing streets shall be maintained to their current layout.
   D.   Sidewalk Construction: All sidewalk construction in the City shall:
      1.   Conform to the standards set forth in title 10 of this Code. Sidewalks shall be installed in each zone based on the specific criteria as detailed in title 10 of this Code.
      2.   The construction of sidewalks in the City shall be in conformance with the City sidewalk construction standards as included in the City Sidewalks Policy. (Ord. 06-06, 4-4-2006)
