5-1-5: DUTIES OF DEPARTMENT AND MEMBERS:
The Fire Department and all its members shall hold the duty of extinguishing all accidental or destructive fires and to prevent the occurrence or spread of such fires. The Fire Department shall also use its emergency equipment in any other manner approved of by the City Council. (1995 Code § 3-1-106)
