A. Permission Required: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to use any street, sidewalk, or other public place as space for the display of goods or merchandise for sale without permission from the City Council; or to write, make or place any sign or advertisement on any such street or sidewalk without permission from the City Council.
B. Distance To Intersection: It shall be unlawful to place any approved display or sign on City property, including A-frame type signs, within ten feet (10') of an intersection.
C. Pedestrian Traffic On Sidewalks: It shall be unlawful for any approved private use on City property to obstruct the flow of pedestrian traffic and must provide a minimum of five feet (5') of unobstructed sidewalk from the gutter if fronting Main Street and at least four feet (4') of unobstructed sidewalk on all other sidewalks.
