4-2-1: DEFINITIONS:
The words contained in this Chapter are defined as follows:
HOUSEHOLD GOODS AND EQUIPMENT: All articles usually referred to as household goods and articles used in housekeeping including, but not limited to, chairs, tables, davenports, beds, refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, furnaces, appliances, grease, oil, paint and their containers.
MACHINERY: All articles of industrial, farm or domestic machinery or equipment, any and all metal or wooden machinery, motors, equipment, tools or property.
MISCELLANEOUS PROPERTY: All other property including, but not limited to, old rope, iron, brass, copper, tin, lead, rubber, rags, baggage, bottles, scrap, toys, bicycles or boats.
MOTOR VEHICLES: Any vehicle propelled or drawn by power other than muscular power designed to travel on the ground by wheels, treads, runners or slides and to transport persons or property or pull machinery including, but not limited to, automobiles, trucks, trailers, motorcycles, tractors, buggies or wagons.
PERSON: Any individual, corporation or partnership.
RUBBISH: Nonputrescible solid wastes consisting of both combustible and noncombustible wastes, such as paper, wrappings, cigarettes, cardboard, metal cans, yard clippings, dead trees, tree limbs, wood, glass, bedding, crockery, abandoned, discarded or unused objects or equipment such as cans or containers and similar materials. However, rubbish shall not include wood and other materials that are stored and used for fuel. (Ord. 447, 1-5-93)
