A. Licenses issued under the provisions of this chapter may be revoked by the city council after notice of hearing whenever it shall be shown, or whenever the city council has knowledge or information, that a licensee: 1) has violated any of the provisions of this chapter, or 2) has committed a fraud or false statement in the application for a license.
B. Notice of the hearing of revocation shall be given in writing setting forth specifically the grounds of the complaint and the time and place of hearing. Such notice shall be mailed, postage prepaid, to the licensee at his last known address at least five (5) days prior to the date set for hearing.
C. The chief of police shall be notified forthwith by the city council of the suspension or revocation of any license issued under this chapter. (Ord. 628, 6-1-2021)
